Ecuador tenders construction contract for 14.8 MWp Conolophus solar project in Santa Cruz

The Government of Ecuador is set to award the tender for the construction of the 14.8 MWp Conolophus solar photovoltaic project in Santa Cruz in the Galapagos Island. 

In addition, the selected bidder will also build a 40.9 MWh lithium-ion battery energy storage system. The two projects will require a total investment of about US$45 million. 

The Ministry of Energy and Non-Renewable Natural Resources (MERNNR) is set to conduct the bid evaluation and the award of the contract by the third quarter of 2020.
