SeAH Wind has secured a deal to supply all monopiles for Vattenfall’s 2800 MW Norfolk Vanguard offshore wind farm in the UK North Sea.
The XXL monopiles designated for Norfolk Vanguard West and Vanguard East will have dimensions ranging from 10 to 11 meters in diameter, with weights varying between 1600 and 2250 tonnes per unit, and lengths spanning from 70 to 95 meters. The contract is scheduled to commence in 2026 from their facility under construction in Teesside, located in north-east England. The steelwork operations are anticipated to continue until the conclusion of 2027.
The deal provides SeAH with order security from 2025 until the end of 2027, allowing them to plan and grow their business. The Vanguard wind farm is expected to be operational by 2029.
