Cypress Creek Renewables has expanded its New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) development portfolio by purchasing a 100 MW transmission project from Carson Power.
Carson Power will continue to co-develop the project alongside Cypress Creek, with the latter company taking the lead in terms of principal development, offtake, procurement, and financing responsibilities. Carson Power will be responsible for supporting entitlement and community engagement.
The project, which is situated close to Rochester, New York, USA is currently in the preliminary stages of development. It is anticipated that it will be put into operation in the year 2026.
