Cypress Creek Renewables has achieved a financial close of the US$216 million funding for the construction of the 208 MW Zier Solar Photovoltaic and Storage project located in Kinney County, Texas, USA.
The financing scheme was arranged by Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale (NORD/LB) acting as Coordinating Lead Arranger (CLA), Lender and LC Issuing Bank alongside Rabobank, National Bank of Canada, and the North American Development Bank as Joint Lead Arrangers. The financial package provided a construction-to-term loan, tax equity bridge loan, and letter of credit facilities.
The construction of the solar farm is set to commence concurrently with the financial closing. Once operational, the energy produced from the plant will be fed to the Texas grid.
