The 58 MW Korlat wind farm has started its to generate power as it joins the power market in Croatia during a trial operation.
Croatian energy market operator HROTE has signed a temporary contract with the operator of the project. The wind farm will participate directly in the electricity market, as a member of state-owned energy supplier Hrvatska Elektroprivreda (HEP).
The project has not participated in the feed-in tariffs system that provides benefits to the developers a government incentives for the sale electricity from renewable energy sources.
