CPA to procure power in sPower's 100-MW/400-MWh battery storage facility in California

Clean Power Alliance (CPA), an electricity provider in Southern California, has signed a 15-year Energy Storage Agreement (ESA) with the 100 MW Luna Storage standalone battery storage project in the State of California. 

Under the terms of the agreement, sPower will own and operate the energy storage facility that will be developed in the City of Lancaster within Los Angeles County and is expected to be operational by August 2021.

The project represents about US$100 million of investment.
