Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) has agreed to work with Viviid Renewables. They will focus on onshore wind projects in India with a total capacity of more than 1.8 GW.
The first two projects will have a combined capacity of over 500 MW and will be developed and financed by CIP’s New Markets Fund I. Viviid will provide its expertise in project development, design, engineering, procurement, and construction. CIP will handle offtake sourcing, general procurement activities, and the financing process.
The partnership aims to support India’s transition to clean energy and create value for both parties. CIP is a global leader in offshore wind investments and has a portfolio of interconnector projects in the North Sea. Viviid has a large pipeline of renewable energy projects in India and has experience in delivering them successfully.
