Coal India Ltd., through its subsidiary CIL Navikarniya Urja Ltd., has launched a tender for the development of three solar photovoltaic (PV) projects located in the state of West Bengal in India with a combined capacity of 35 MW.
The tender covers the design, engineering, procurement and supply, construction and erection, testing, commissioning, associated transmission system, and comprehensive operation and maintenance of the solar PV plants for five (5) years. The projects are the 10 MW Kalidaspur solar PV plant in Satgram, a 12.5 MW solar PV farm in Amritnagar, and a 12.5 MW solar project in the Mahabir collieries.
The estimated cost of work is around INR2.05 billion (US$24.8 million). Interested bidders must deposit Earnest Money of INR500,000 (US$6,037.85).
The deadline for the submission of tender documents is on February 22, 2023.
