The development works for the BRL2.4 billion (US$590.4 million) wind project in Rio Grande do Norte state of Brazil is set to start in January 2020.
Brazilian developer Casa dos Ventos will commence the construction for the Rio do Vento wind project that covers an area of 7,000 hectares in four municipalities -- Caicara do Rio do Vento, Ruy Barbosa, Bento Fernandes, and Riachuelo.
The project is scheduled for commissioning by July 2021.
