Conrad Energy has received planning approval for a 45 MW solar photovoltaic project in Herefordshire, England.
The Larport Solar Farm will be built on a 120-acre (48.6-hectare) property in Dormington and is estimated to generate enough electricity to power more than 11,000 houses annually while reducing CO2 emissions by about 10,000 tonnes. The plant will be connected to the grid through the nearby Clay Hill Pit substation.
The construction schedule and commissioning of the scheme were not disclosed.
