Colombia's national mining and energy planning unit UPME has awarded a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA) deal for the energy output of the 75 MW Parque Eolico Apotolorru wind farm in La Guajira.
The wind farm will sell ist energy produced for an average rate of COP 106.66/kWh (US$0.031/kWh).
The project is awarded in an additional round of the Colombian renewable energy auction.
