China Three Gorges gets approval for 400 MW offshore wind project development

The state-owned renewable energy developer, China Three Gorges New Energy Co., has received approval for the development of its 400 MW offshore wind project located in Yangjiang City in the province of Guangdong, China.

With the approval, the construction phase will now commence in the following days.The project is expected to be completed and generate up to 1.49 billion kilowatthours of electricity annually by 2020.
