ReneSola negotiating sale of 206.8 MW solar portfolio with Brookfield Asset Management

ReneSola has announced the signing of an exclusivity agreement with an affiliate of Brookfield Asset Management to negotiate the sale of distributed generation operating assets in China, with a total capacity of 206.8 MW. The agreed negotiation period is 60 days.

The Brookfield affiliate intends to acquire the project-based special purpose vehicles (SPVs) that own the DG operating assets from Zhejiang ReneSola Investment Ltd., ReneSola's subsidiary that holds the company's DG projects in China.

This negotiation may not lead to a definitive agreement for a potential transaction and there is no assurance as to the form, terms or timing of any transaction even if an agreement is reached between the parties.
