China Everbright Greentech Limited has secured the development of two projects: Anhui Yeji Biomass Electricity and Heat Cogeneration Project (Yeji Project) Phase II and Jiangsu Suqian General Industrial Solid Waste Electricity and Heat Cogeneration Project (Suqian Project) that represents a total investment of CNY649 million (US$96.8 million).

Yeji Project Phase II commands an investment of approximately RMB186 million (US$27.74 million), with a designed annual agricultural and forestry waste processing capacity of 120,000 tonnes and the capability of supplying approximately 600,000 tonnes of steam per year. Yeji Project Phase I and II are expected to provide approximately 230 million kWh of green electricity in total annually. Yeji Project Phase II will be invested in and constructed based on a BOO (Build-Operate-Own) model for an operation period of 30 years. Following the completion of construction works, Yeji Project Phase II will share some of the public facilities with Yeji Project Phase I, which is currently in operation. By forming the synergy effects, Yeji Project will strongly support the provision of providing better service to the local key industries.

Suqian Project commands an investment of approximately RMB463 million (US$69.04 million). The project is designed to incinerate 600 tonnes of general industrial solid waste per day. It will be invested in and constructed based on a BOO model, with an operation period of no less than 30 years.
