Construction completed for Waste-to-energy Project in Vietnam

China Everbright Environment Group Limited announced the completion of construction works for Hue Waste-to-energy Project (“Hue Project”) in Thua Thien Hue Province, Vietnam.

The WTE project covers an area of approximately 11 hectares, it can process approximately 220,000 tonnes of household waste and generate approximately 80 million kWh of on-grid green electricity per annum. The total investment of the project is approximately US$ 74.55 million.

Hue Project marks the first modernised waste-to-energy project that is jointly developed by the local government authorities and enterprises in central Vietnam.
