Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has launched a tender inviting bids for the development of 10 MW grid-connected rooftop solar photovoltaic projects located on its buildings across various states in India under the renewable energy service company (RESCO) model.
The projects will be developed in the following zones with the allocated capacities:
- Zone-I (3.2 MW): Gujarat, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu
- Zone-II (2 MW): Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Telangana – 2 MW
- Zone-III (3.6 MW): Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Haryana, Jharkhand, Kerala, Odisha, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal
- Zone-IV (1.2 MW): Uttarakhand, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, Tripura
Interested bidders have the option to bid for any number of zones, but the maximum total capacity allocated to a bidder cannot exceed 5 MW.
The deadline for the submission of tender is on June 28, 2023.
