Brazil approves Enel's acquisition of 378 MW of wind and solar projects

Brazilian Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) has approved without restrictions the acquisition by Enel of three wind and solar projects held by local firm Grupo Mario Araripe.

Enel will own the Complexo Eolico Lagoa do Barro III wind park (8 MW), Complexo Eolico Dom Inocencio wind park (70 MW) and Complexo Solar Fotons de Santo Anchieta 01 to 06 solar farm (300 MW), all classified as pre-operational as power supply has not commenced.

The three projects are currently controlled by Salus - Fundo de Investimento em Participacoes Multiestrategia.

The value of the buyout was not mentioned in the filing.
