Boralex has started the commercial operation of the 53 MW onshore wind projects consisting of three wind farms located in the commune of Louville-la-Chenard, the Centre-Val de Loire region, France.
The 14 MW Remise de Reclainville and 14MW Evits et Josaphat wind farms are repowered with each facility composed of 6Nordex N117 turbines, adding 2 MW capacity to each farm. The 25 MW Bois des Fontaines wind project is a newly built wind farm that is comprised of seven Nordex N117 turbines.
The three projects are expected to generate up to 138 GWh of energy per year.
