Banks Renewables plans to build a 40 MW solar photovoltaic plant to the east of Leeds in the UK.

The Barnsdale solar PV park has been approved by the Leeds City Council. The facility will be built between Kippax and Allerton Bywater. The solar panels will be installed around 50 hectares of land and will be connected to the Ledston Primary electricity substation.

The solar farm is expected to be operational in early 2022.
