Atmos Renewables has expanded its renewables portfolio by acquiring the 112.5 MW Karadoc Solar Farm project in northwest Victoria, Australia. The solar park was purchased from BayWa r.e.
The acquisition is part of Atmos Renewables' strategy to increase its portfolio of Australian renewable energy assets. The Karadoc Solar Farm, which began operations in 2019, is equipped with over 345,000 solar panels and has the capacity to generate renewable energy for approximately 65,000 homes.
With this latest addition, Atmos Renewables now has a portfolio of 15 renewable energy plants capable of generating 2.5 TWh of electricity. This move further solidifies Atmos Renewables' commitment to expanding clean energy infrastructure in Australia and contributing to the nation's renewable energy goals.
