Argentina's Ministry of Energy and Mines announced the inauguration of a solar PV project.
Located in Catamarca, the project involves the development of a 22.5 MW photovoltaic solar plant. The facility consists of 77,000 solar panels installed in an area of close to 70 hectares (172.9 acres), about 178 km northwest of Catamarca's capital.
The solar modules are supplied by Jinko Solar Holding Co Ltd.
