AES Tiete Energia signs PPA deal with Anglo American unit for 79 MW

AES Tiete Energia has signed a power purchase agreement deal with a unit of Anglo American plc, Anglo American Niquel Brasil Ltda, for 79 MW average of the 167.4 MW wind farm in the state of Bahia. 

The deal will start by 2022 and extends for 15 years. 

The wind farm represents an investment of around BRL670 million (US$159.3 million).
