The Brazilian unit of AES Corporation, AES Brasil, has signed an 80 MW 20-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Companhia de Ferro Ligas da Bahia (Ferbasa) for the Cajuína wind complex.
The wind complex with a combined capacity of 165 MW is currently being developed in Rio Grande do Norte. The construction is set to start in 2021.
The PPA will commence in 2024.
