AEP, Evergy signs PPA for 128 MW Flat Ridge 3 wind project in Kansas

AEP Renewables, a unit of American Electric Power, has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Evergy Inc, a renewable energy unit of American Electric Power Company Inc, for the energy produced in the 128-MW Flat Ridge 3 wind project in Kansas.

The facility will consist of 62 wind turbines. It will require about US$20 million of investment.
