Nightpeak Energy has closed the purchase of the Saguaro Power Company, the owner of a 90 MW combined cycle power plant near Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Saguaro operates on a seasonal basis to offer consistent, continuous power to the Las Vegas Valley and supports the larger regional grid's shift toward renewable energy. Nightpeak, a Dallas-based investment firm with investments spanning the energy infrastructure value chain, plans to expand its operational portfolio through acquisitions and the development of its 7 GW greenfield project portfolio. Saguaro represents Nightpeak's inaugural operational power plant whereas Davis Wright Tremaine LLP represented Nightpeak in the transaction.
