ACCIONA Energía has announced the acquisition of a majority stake in Solideo, a Spanish company that specializes in self-consumption and energy efficiency solutions meant for small and medium-sized businesses, as well as residential customers. Solideo also provides customers with electric storage batteries, charging stations for electric vehicles, and aerothermal air conditioning systems. Moreover, the company is busy launching new business segments, such as distributed generation projects and the sale of energy and solar communities.
Last year, Solideo started its expansion strategy towards the rest of Spain and opened additional offices in Alicante, Malaga, and Madrid. Solideo's plan for the future is focused on a continuous geographic expansion that will enable the company to cover most parts of the country.
By obtaining majority ownership, ACCIONA will be able to expand its portfolio of clean energy solutions that cover a broad range of sectors, including but not limited to home and business solutions.
