The UK Planning Inspectorate has accepted an application for Development Consent (DCO) from Vattenfall, the developer of Norfolf Boreas offshore wind farm.
The 1.8 GW project is located in the eastern North Sea, 73 kilometers off the Norfolk coast in the east of England. The facility is comprised of 90 to 200 wind turbines with a minimum individual capacity of 10 MW installed on fixed bottom foundations, covering an area of 725 km2.
