GE to supply turbines for 133 MW wind complex in Spain

GE Renewable Energy, a renewable energy unit of General Electric, has been commissioned by Repsol to supply turbines for the 133 MW Delta II wind complex located in the state of Aragon in Spain.

The wind complex is composed of six wind farms namely: Santa Cruz I, Amp, II, III, and San Isidro I and II projects. GE Renewable Energy will supply 22 6.1-MW wind turbines to the entire wind complex. The wind farms are expected to supply clean energy to about 100,000 homes per year.

As for projects in the pipeline in 2022 and the beginning of 2023, Repsol has obtained Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) for projects totaling more than 600 MW of installed capacity.
