130 MW Onshore Wind farm commissioned in India

Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) has opened its 130 MW wind project at Kutchh district in Gujarat, India. The plant has a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) at INR2820 MWh (US$38.66 MWh). It is part of the 725 MW complex in Northern India with 50 units of 2 MW machines.

The wind farm will be managed by the Adani Group's intelligent 'Energy Network Operation Centre' (ENOC). This development by AGEL is expected to advance India's push for greater renewable energy generation, which is a big part of the country's agenda for economic growth and climate change mitigation.

The Adani Group is a conglomerate with businesses in the Resources, Logistics, and Energy sectors.
