Zelestra announced a new long-term Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with AEP Energy Partners (AEPEP), a subsidiary of American Electric Power, for the total electricity produced at the proposed 49.9 MW Gem City Solar project in Dayton, Ohio, USA.
The development is expected to rank among the largest solar power facilities located within U.S. city boundaries. Zelestra is currently progressing with detailed construction planning, with major works scheduled to commence in early 2027 and commercial operations targeted before the end of the year.
