White Construction, a subsidiary of Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives (IEA) that manages utility-scale renewable energy and heavy civil infrastructure projects, has secured a contract build a 20 MW solar photovoltaic project.
The project features up to 60,000 solar modules installed at a site spanning 200 acres (80.9 hectares) of land near South Bend, Indiana.
IEA will be in charge of the project's design, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the facility. In addition, IEA will construct all of the access roads, fencing, foundations, electrical collection, and trackers.
