India's leading solar photovoltaic (PV) technology provider, Vikram Solar, has signed an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract with the National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) Ltd for the development of its 140 MW solar PV plant located in Bilhaur, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh in India.
NTPC is developing up to 225 MW solar plants in Uttar Pradesh including the 140 MW in Kanpur that will be built in a 700 acre of land. The project is expected to be completed by September 2020.
