Dirkshof has placed an order with Vestas for 68 MW to power the Aidu wind project in Estonia. In addition to the procurement, installation, and commissioning of 15 V150-4.5 MW turbines, the contract includes a 20-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service agreement.
The Aidu wind project will play a key role in helping Estonia to further decarbonize its energy sector, with industry-leading wind energy solutions. The project site is located in the northeastern section of Estonia, in the Lüganuse parish of Ida-Viru County.
The delivery and installation of the wind turbines are expected to take place in Q3 of 2023, with the commissioning slated for Q1 of 2024.
