Vattenfall, in partnership with Vestas and AIP ManagemenBlakliden Fäbodberget, has announced the inauguration of the 353 MW Blakliden-Fäbodberget onshore wind project located in Lycksele and Åsele municipalities, Sweden.
The project has begun construction in 2018 and is now ready for operation. The wind farm consists of 84 wind turbines, each 180 meters high (including rotor blades). The project is expected to generate an estimated annual production of 1.1 TWh and deliver fossil-free electricity to around 220,000 homes.
