Norwegian telecom infrastructure provider Telenor Infra AS has signed a 10-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with renewables operator Hydro Energi AS for the 260 MW Stor-Skälsjön onshore wind farm project located in the municipalities of Sundsvall and Timrå in Sweden.
The project will have 42 SG 6.6-170 turbines supplied by Siemens Gamesa. MEAG acquired the 75% majority stake while the remaining stake is held by Hydro REIN with 25%. Hydro Energy will handle the delivery of power from the wind park to Telenor.
The project is expected to be operational by 2023.
