Uzbekistan achieves financial close for 500 MW wind project in Navoiy

The Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan has achieved financial close for the development of the 500 MW wind project that will be located close to the city of Zarafshan in the Navoiy region, Uzbekistan. 

The project will be implemented by Masdar. Once operational that is targeted by the end of 2024, the wind farm is expected to generate enough power for 500,000 homes.
