US Solar Fund completes acquisition of 39 MW solar portfolio in North Carolina

US Solar Fund Plc has completed the acquisition of a 39 MW solar photovoltaic portfolio located in North Carolina. 

The solar assets were purchased from its developers Cypress Creek Renewables. 

Horne Brothers Construction will lead the construction of the project with the expected completion due in the second half of 2020. The projects have a power purchase agreement (PPA) with Duke Energy Corp with a weighted average term of 13.2 years.

The investment in the acquisition deal and the construction is about US$35million.
