EDF secures a PPA deal for the 100 MW Maverick 6 solar park in Riverside County

EDF Renewables has signed a 20-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with CleanPowerSF, a not-for-profit program operated by the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, for a 100 MWac tranche of the 100 MW Maverick 6 solar park in Riverside County.

The Maverick 6 solar park is part of the Palen Solar site that comprises multiple solar projects located in Riverside County, California.

The plant is expected to be operational by the end of 2021 and generates enough clean electricity to supply for about 49,000 homes in California.
