Navisun, in collaboration with the City of Danville, is set to build two solar photovoltaic farms with a combined capacity of 10 MW.

The two solar projects, named Irish Road Solar and Whitmell Solar, span 100 acres along State Road 703/Irish Road and will generate an estimated 23,668,000 kilowatt-hour annually.

The projects will be constructed by TurningPoint Energy. The development is set to start by the end of 2019 with the expected completion by mid-2020.

The energy produced will be sold to Danville Utilities under a power purchase agreement (PPA)
