Vineyard Wind, a 50/50 partnership between Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) and Avangrid Renewables LLC, has been selected by the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) to deliver an 804 MW Park City Wind project in Connecticut.
Vineyard wind is now negotiating with United Illuminating Company and Eversource Energy for a 20-year PPA deal, which will be approved by Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA).
The project is scheduled to be operational by 2025.
