Update title: Total Eren acquires 92 MW Terra Santa wind project

Total Eren acquired the 90% stakes in the 92 MW Terra Santa wind project from the Vila Energia Renovável. The project is located in Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil.

Total SA is based in France. It’s their first wind energy asset in Brazil. Vila Energia Renovável is a local energy company of Brazil. It will retain 10% stake in the project.

The wind complex has a 20-year long-term power supply contract already signed with Brazilian utility Cia Energetica de Minas Gerais SA, better known as Cemig. Expected to start production in 2021, the facility requires BRL 410 million.

Total Eren had previously bought 3 solar parks with a combined capacity of 140 MW in Brazil.
