Compagnie de Saint-Gobain SA has signed a 15-year virtual power purchase agreement with Tion Renewables (Pacifico Renewables Yield AG) through the company's 52 MW operational wind portfolio in Poland.
The wind portfolio consists of 33.3 MW Debowa Laka, 16.3 MW Swiecie, and 2.2 MW 12W wind farms located in the region of Kuyavian-Pomeranian. The Debowa Laka project consists of 12 wind turbines supplied by Vestas. The three wind farms can generate about 190 GWh of energy per year.
The delivery of clean energy is set to start in 2025.
