Themis, an Africa-focused power platform, has issued the full notice to proceed for the development and construction of the 44 MW Singrobo hydropower plant (HPP) project in Cote d’Ivoire.
The project will be constructed by French civil engineering company Eiffage SA. It will be built near the Singrobo and Ahouaty villages on the Bandama river. The project is expected to be completed by 2023.
Once operational, it will operate under a 35-year offtake deal with Cienergues. The project is promoted by the consortium of companies that include the Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) and IHE Holding.
