Dekel Agri-Vision Plc, in partnership with the German renewable energy firm Green Enesys Holdings Ltd., is set to build a 36 MW solar and biomass hybrid power plant in the Côte d'Ivoire.
The hybrid power plant will consist of a 30 MW solar photovoltaic park and a 5 MW to 6 MW biomass energy generating facility that will be built in Ayenouan. The biomass power plant will use the feedstock from Dekel's palm oil operations.
The two companies will have an equal stake in the project. Green Enesys is currently doing the feasibility study on the potential project.
