Tender issued for 500 MW of energy storage systems in USA

Texas public power utility CPS Energy has launched a request for proposals (RFP) for up to 500 MW of energy storage systems in San Antonio, Texas, USA. The storage facility is enough to power 100,000 homes.

CPS Energy is seeking energy storage projects to help the utility integrate more renewable energy into its grid and to improve reliability and resilience.
