The Government of Kenya, with the support of the African Development Bank, has launched a request for expression of interest (RFEOI) tender of Consultancy Services for the Development of Guidelines for the review of Privately Initiated Investment Proposals (PIIPs) for Power Transmission Infrastructure Projects.
The services included under this project are the development of guidelines for reviewing Privately Initiated Investment Proposals for transmission projects in order to encourage private sector participation. This will include the development of affordability and value for money assessment criteria; project risk analysis, standard project agreement template, and PIIP policy. The consultant will also be expected to provide comprehensive capacity building.
The consultancy service will be for a period of six (6) months. Interested consultants will be expected to have acted as a consultant and/or transaction adviser and successfully completed the full scope of work, including taking Energy Sector Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) to financial close in Sub-Saharan Africa, other emerging markets and mature PPP markets.
The deadline for the submission of interest is on August 27, 2020.
