Technique Solaire, a company based in France, has achieved financial close on its 47 MW photovoltaic solar project portfolio comprising 64 solar projects. The company won the portfolio during the domestic renewable energy tenders. The portfolio consists of greenhouse, rooftop, and solar shadehouse.
From the 47 MWp, 19 MWp were also backed through crowdfunding campaigns. The company has arranged EUR 54 million long term financing to construct the portfolio. The funds will also restructure the existing debt on its 15 operational assets totaling 2 MWp.
Having a tenor of over 20 years, the Bpifrance arranged the new financing. The Credit Agricole Group was both lender and swap bank and among the initial lenders for the operational assets.
