The European Investment Bank has granted a EUR50 million (US$56 million) loan to Quadran Energies Marines Sasu for the development of a 25 MW offshore floating wind farm located off the cost of Port la Nouvelle, near Narbonne (Occitanie, France).
Quadran carried out the relevant environmental impact assessments (EIAs) during the period between September 2016 and January 2017 and the public consultation has been launched. The EIA and the permitting will be assessed during appraisal for conformity with relevant EU Directives.
