The US government, through the Interior Department, has approved the right of way application of TC Energy Corporation for the development of the Keystone XL pipeline project.
The government has approved the construction of the project across the federal land of Montana. The project is set to boost the transfer of crude from Alberta’s oil sands to Gulf Coast refineries.
Federal permits are still necessary before the construction of the project will commence.
