SUSI Partners has closed its acquisition of a 34 MW solar project for a total of EUR30 million (US$34 million). The facility was developed by Overland Sun Farming.
The solar PV plant is built in Middlemount in Queensland, Australia. The plant generates sufficient electricity to support approximately 24,000 households. It is connected to the substation by a short 1.5km electrical connection line. The electrical network system at Middlemount forms part of the wider Queensland grid network, connecting through the Lilyvale sub station.
The scheme has an option to add a battery storage component in the future.
